Another one bites the dust...

Bad news for us LeMays and all other Vermont single women... Congressman Peter Welch got married on Friday.  We last saw him on the historic election night of 2008 (at right).  

Here's the story from the Associated Press...

NORWICH, Vt. (AP) - Vermont politics is now a family affair.

Vermont congressman Peter Welch and state Rep. Margaret Cheney of Norwich announced Saturday that they're now husband and wife.

The Democratic couple were married one day earlier in a ceremony at Cheney's home. They have a total of eight children from previous marriages.

The 61-year-old Welch will begin his second term in Congress and 56-year-old Cheney will begin her second term in the Vermont House this year.
