Are Ewe a Fan of Spamb?

posted Wednesday, 10 June 2009

Hank down at the Beaver Pond Pork By-Product Processing Plant (BPPBPPP) is really trying to work the downturn in the economy.  And he admits things have been working against him.  First there was the Swine Flu scare where he had to issue a press release from Nurse Ann Thrax and Game Warden Bucky Snatcher (Swine's Fine in Beaver Pond).  Then a company came out with a product to sell that he had been giving away for years (Lard as Lube?) and one that he thought no one other than the LeMays would appreciate (Pork - The Other White Liquor).

But Hank's one not to give up.  So, he's come up with a new product.  SPAMB.

The idea came to him when he got to thinking about all of the people from the Middle East who were coming to the United States.  He knew that a lot of them didn't eat pork (let alone pork by-products).  They preferred lamb meat.  And he figured the reason they didn't eat pork was because they never had the opportunity to try it!  What other reason could there be?

So, he thought of a way to ween them from lamb to ham... Spamb!

He takes items from his dis-assembly line and then mixes the mixture with his own special flavoring (he calls it "Mutton, Honey").  Once their tastebuds get accustomed to the slight change, he figures it won't be long before they are ready for full-fledged, straight-on pork by-products.

Hank is asking people to send him recipe ideas for this new product.  Those selected for the soon-to-be-published cookbook will receive a case of Spamb.

As Hank says, "The "B" makes it better."
