Lagerfeld's For Fur
Back in October the word leaked out (via our friends at Seven Days) that famed fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld had purchased a home in the Islands area of Vermont. You can read about the discovery HERE.
Lagerfeld is back in the news because he says that there's nothing wrong with wearing fur - because if we didn't kill the animals, they'd be after us for their dinner... some recent quotes...
"In a meat-eating world, wearing leather for shoes and clothes and even handbags, the discussion of fur is childish."
Hunters in the north "make a living having learnt nothing else than hunting", he said, "killing those beasts who would kill us if they could."
