Lucy Belle takes a trip to Stowe.

posted Sunday, 20 July 2008
It was a beautiful summer afternoon to travel to Stowe, Vt. The House of LeMay was invited to the Annual Dinner that the Vt. People With AIDS Coalition hold each year during their weekend long retreat. The retreat is to help give info on medical and dietary
The reason we were invited is because the money to pay for this retreat each year comes from the annual Winter is a Drag Ball held each year in February at Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vt. They wanted to Thank Us for putting the Drag Ball together and raising enough money so they can have the retreat each year. It was held at the Northern Lights Lodge in Stowe, Vt. It was a 60's theme party. I, Lucy Belle, Mike Hayes and our stalker friend Jason went. The other girls had to stay in Beaver Pond, Maggie is busy getting outfits ready for VGSA Summer Party in St. Alban's Bay at Jeff Minor's Camp on August 2, and Amber is answering the emails and phones at the desk for The League of Drag Queen Voters and Liza is staying busy at laundromat.

Everyone seemed to be having a fun time. Dinner was delicious and the company was GREAT!! After dinner the entertainment was Marco the Magician and then Dancing to the 60's.

needs and the different support that people may need that are living with AIDS.

Here we are with Kathy one of the board members.

Here are a few pictures of some of the people who attended.

We are pleased to help this organization and you can help too by coming to the Winter is a Drag Ball XIV.
