Looking Back - November 2008
Things kept getting better for all of us as November and the election came about. It was the BEST - MONTH - EVER (97) for our blog. Just click on the bolded titles to read the stories. The number in parenthesis is the how many "reads" the story had gotten as of 12/31/08.
SHOWTIME
A LeMay tradition... between Halloween and Election Day we host our annual Leaf Peepin' Cider Sippin' Revue '08 (194). We had the Decoys, funny songs and good videos to show.
WE DIDN'T BLOW IT - WE VOTED!!
It was a long year for the League of Drag Queen Voters and it all came to a head on that glorious November Night. We had our picture taken with our congressman, Peter Welch, and Senator Bernie Sanders... and toured the town in Election Night '08 - Yes We Did!!! (276). And showed you what was happening in elsewhere with Election Night Partying on the Streets of NYC (158). And had to take one more jab...Sarah Palin's New Job (168). But the election was all in our favor... The Prop 8 Protest in NYC (145).
COVERBOY BOB
Seven Days went WAY out of their way and put our own Bob Bolyard on their cover. We STILL haven't heard the end of it from him... Paper dolls for everyone! (177) and Bob In A Box (157) AND Bob may be your everything, but this is ridiculous.... (133).
GIVING THANKS
One of the things were always thankful for is our friends. And one of our best ones has been gone for five years so we held a SOCIAL...for ZENO !!! (140). And we received some good exposure for a certain list...What we're thankful for... (291). And we also shared Things That Sound Dirty At Thanksgiving... (161)
