Oh, what a white (party, that is)
I have to admit something... Lucy can wear me out. For weeks, all we've been hearing is, "I'm going to P'town!" "I'm going to win Biggest Hair!" on and on and on... So, when she and Bo pulled out of Beaver Pond yesterday to head to the Cape, the rest of us girls said, "We need a break!!!" We aren't telling where we are, we're just not around you! BUT, as always, we can count on Bob to tell us what's going on and he said he had fun last night at the White Party at Hi
gher Ground.
He said he saw LOTS of old friends, people he's met over the past few months and some VERY nice new people, too. Of course, the staff at Higher Ground couldn't be nicer... Kevin, Andy, Augie - all were having a good time making sure everyone else was having a good time.
The music was super!!! Long-time DJ Duo Rob Douglas and Alan Perry had the place shakin!
Some of the people he saw... Peter, Kelly and Roy from Vermont CARES, Jay & Dan (from PCC mentioned in the FORE! entry yesterday), Ralph & Jerry from QHC, Mr. Pride Vermont - Connor, Shawn & Don (who told Bob about the BIG Halloween Party they're planning at Higher Ground... ), the Todd-Bill-Marc-Israel-Valerie-Holly crowd, Precious and her POOFters, Cody and Nathan... it MUST have been a fun night!!!
Bob did want to make sure I mentioned Wayne. Not only was he his usual greatness behind the bar, he's the man behind some of the great parties Higher Ground has been having for those lost gay souls who don't have a place to call their own. Thanks, Wayne!!

pleasure to have a place to go to where you know you will see most of the
gang all in one place at the same time! Thanks! But I do have to
say....who thought it was a good idea for us to dress all in white? For
GOD SAKES - that just ain't pretty!
