Pride 09: Kiss-ing the Rainbow Flag

On Wednesday, July 22, Burlington Mayor Bob Kiss unfurled the rainbow flag in front of City Hall in commemoration of this week's Pride Vermont activities.   This is the third year that such an event has occurred in Vermont's Queen City. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The mayor issued a proclamation praising the gay community for adding to the quality of life of Burlington and vowing to protect us from any possible backlash of the progress we've made over the years.

The media was there... including our buddy Jack Thurston (right, with the Mayor).
