Pride 2006
A beautiful weekend was in store for Pride 2006!!! From the VGSA Sunset Cruise to the parade to the Pride Beach Ball to the VGSA Sunday Picnic... a GREAT weekend!!!!
First, it was the cruise!!!
Our theme for the parade was... Still Making Waves!!!! This is the ad we bought in 7 Days.
From the parade we went to Battery Park where we performed the Festival. Our good friend Russell spent a lot of the day with us and his video camera... someday... someday...
After the Festival it was time to head out to Higher Ground to decorate for the Pride Beach Ball!!! We produced the party and hosted it as well. Friends from Brattleboro came up to perform as did Fluffy Bushe and many others. Our friend Robert Taylor was in charge of decorations and did a GREAT job!!! Big balls!
Our DJ was John Martin of Superior Sounds... with his able bodied assistant...Little John!!
The next day we rested. But Bob, Mike, Johnnie and Michael didn't. They went to the VGSA Pride Picnic at the St. John's Club...
On the way home the boys stopped off at Don and Shawn's for a post-post-pride-party...
