Pushing up the Daysies!!!!

WOW!!! We had a BLAST at the annual 7 Daysies Party that 7 Days held at the Echo Center... LOTS of fun people, great food, better drinks (loved the vodka daisy!)... we had fun.  Thank you 7 Days for inviting us!  We hope you'll let us come back soon.  And special thanks to our good friend Craig - he was our escort for the evening and then let us "relax" afterwards on his boat.

 

We would like to make one comment... we were hoping to have a picture of a certain "wisest weather watcher" but we were told "NO!" by a certain wisest weather watcher's wife... someone telling a LeMay "No"?...

It was a beautiful evening and we went out on the deck to appreciate the art...

  

 

       Enough clowning around!!!! Let's get inside and meet and greet and DRINK!!!

One of the people we ran into was Daisy Winner (best local radio DJ) Coach Tom Brennan.  

We LOVE the Dirty Blondes (voted best Vermont unsigned band) and were happy to see Diane and Becky....and Eva Sollberger - voted runner-up Best Vermont non-political Blog (Stuck in VT) - we love it!!!  To see her account of the night, click HERE.

Kevin Statesir from Higher Ground (voted Best Live Music Venue and runner-up for Best Dance Club) was happy to be seen with his favorite drag queens... as was one of their best employees, Nick!

   

1: Best Print Journalist, Peter Freyne was there... cancer free!!!!  

 2: Mark and Chris representing Creative Habitat (voted Best Arts & Crafts Supplies)

3: Loved seeing Don and Colby from Seven Days...

And there was food, too... Poor Owen from China Express.. we ate all his chicken!!  

So Maggie and Lucy went to see the Hooter Whores Girls

       Of course we couldn't WAIT to run into Rusty Dewees (voted Vermonter we'd most like to see naked).  Some of us were a little more eager than others...

 

 More friends!!!!  Syndi Zook from Lyric Theatre and Matt Sutte (a regular LeMay blog reader), big man at the Blue Star Cafe in Winooski.

 We needed to take a break to... "freshen up"... Lucy found a place that she said reminded her of good times in P'town. 

 

      

   

 
 
As you can tell, we LOVE to have our picture taken (one of us more than the others...).  And one of our favorite picture takers is Matthew Thorsen (voted favorite visual artist).  He's taken MANY pictures of us and we were honored to return the favor.
 

Thank you again, Seven Days - you make our hole weak  whole week!

2. Wisest Weather "Witch" left...

Dropping by to offer compliments on your blog...and an apology. We'd never seen your website and are a little wary, given some past incidents with Tom's photo online. A few months ago, someone took a photo and used it to post a fraudulent MySpace profile that was wildly inappropriate, given Tom's work with schools and kids. It took us several weeks of correspondence to have it removed. He also ended up on a poster for a local band a few years back with a speech bubble that was less than ideal...

That said, sorry for nixing your photo op. I feel doubly bad about interfering, since I just read about your work raising money for AIDS charities. So...

Mea culpa... Blog on, ladies... And I really did like that handbag.
