Slingbacks and Syrup a sure sign of Spring!

A sure sign of Spring in Beaver Pond, Vt. is the sound of the geese. The melting of the snow and ice, off of the top of the mountains and everywhere else.

As the ice melts we find things that we lost back in November. Liza Little thought someone had stolen her bike, but thanks to  Officer Sandy Leachfield she found it outside of the bar where Liza left it on her last visit to Burlington.

Another sign of Spring is when the men meet and set around in there hats and talk about the weather and have a few cocktails.

A sure sign is when we see the Buckets decorating the trees and collecting that sweet sap. We will go down to the Buck Stop and have a sample of this years Maple Syrup on some snow.

And the Best sign of Spring is when "Peggies Plump and Proud"  displays the new Slingbacks for the season! Think Spring!!!
