World Naked Bike Ride '08 - The Report
Well, Bob was there... he sent us these pictures... we have a LOT of them. He said it was a beautiful day, over 100 people rode and it was a fun time!
This was the fourth year that a ride took place in Burlington, Vermont.
The ride started in the garage at the Rose Street Co-op. In Vermont you can be naked in public but you can't GET naked in public... so you have to walk out of a building naked...
When this US postal delivery person (far right) started his route that day, I'm sure he didn't know he'd wind up in the middle of this...
Michael Nedell was one of the organizers for the event. After he talked to the reporter from WPTZ (the report isn't on their webpage) he told people what to expect during the ride - emphasizing bicycle safety.
Bubble guy added a circus atmosphere to the day.
During the ride there was a stop to take a group picture - hope to have that soon.
